+11.9% YTD - wikifolio Q3 2022 performance

Today I want to share the Q3 performance of my wikifolio "Picks and shovels plays"

After the extreme drawdowns in Q2 there was a relief ralley in the markets that allowed equity prices to recover. The double bottom in the S&P500 and NASDAQ charts also led me to the belief that the prices we had seen in June was the bottom for this year.

The wikifolio had some high points during the quarter with reaching its All time high of 240.38 € on Sept 16th. Unfortunately the massive volatility in the markets continued and drove down equity prices because of rising inflation numbers, rate hike- and recession fears. Even though the major indexes broke through major support lines last week, the wikifolio was able to hold onto some of the gains generated since the end of June.

YTD chart comparison featuring the Picks and shovels plays wikifolio (green) and NASDAQ (yellow).

Please find all the relevant Q3 KPIs for my wikifolio below. The performance shown for Picks and shovels plays is the net-performance (fees are already deducted).
